My Sweet Lord – George Harrison

This 50th Anniversary remix by George’s son Dhani is exquisite. The vocals are immediate and intimate. You can feel George’s presence in them. You can hear his devotion and love, his alignment and attunement to Krishna. In Sanskrit, this is called Bhakti.

“I really wanna know you”

“I really wanna go with you”

Someday, I might write about the time I got to meet George. For now, I just want to reflect on the life he lived and the way he made music.

Jai Harrison Jai.
